Brajchino – a village in the Municipality of Resen, in the area of Dolna Prespa, in the vicinity of the city of Resen, located near the shore of the Great Prespa Lake. The village is located on the eastern part of the Great Prespa Lake, in one of the deeper western armpits of Mount Baba, in the middle of the picturesque Brajčinska River. It stretches on both banks of the river, at an altitude of about 1000 meters. The clear and lush Brajčinska River flows through the village, which divides the village into Gorno Maalo on its left side and Dolno Maalo on its right bank. The atar of Brajchino abounds with springs and fast clear streams (left and right tributaries of the Brajčinska River or Stara River , as the locals call it) on which 12 mills and 4 rolling mills once worked in the village. The mountain slopes around Brajchino abound with dense beech and oak forest, and from the village itself, starting from the width of the playground in front of Gornoto Maalo, several marked hiking trails lead through the dense beech, oak and walnut forest rich in springs to Pelister peak (3 hours) and The Great Lake from Pelisterski Ochi (6 hours), the hiking lodges Neolica and Kopanki and the village of Nižepole in Bitola, which are marked with signposts and hiking markings.
