Stone bridge – a stone arch bridge that bridges the Gradeshka River in the immediate vicinity of the village of Zovic. It was built in order to connect the population with the inhabited territories on the other side of the river, i.e. with the villages: Staravina, Gradeshnica, Beshiste and Polchiste. It is considered one of the most beautiful architectural buildings in Mariovo.

In the Middle Ages, a wooden bridge probably existed on the site of today’s stone bridge. In 1952, a villager with an overloaded oxcart was crossing the bridge, which split in half, and the villager and the oxen fell into the river and he suffered permanent spinal injuries. Then the villagers decided to build a new bridge and with the combined efforts of the local population, the stone bridge was built in 1955/6, and the master was a certain Gyuladin (Juladin), originally from the village of Labunishta, assisted by Trajko Sekirkov. In 2014, the bridge was repaired and restored by the Municipality of Novaci.

The bridge is arched and adapted to the terrain. It is built of stone, that is, cut and cut stone blocks. In the immediate vicinity of the bridge, on a high rock, Saint George is painted, which is a remnant of a church that was located in that place in the past. The painting dates back to 1925, which is inscribed with the names of the donors, and was restored in 2006 by the NU Institute and Museum of Bitola. In the lower part of the bridge, right next to the Gradeshka River, there is a mill, which the population used to grind grains. The mill was built of stone and was covered with stone slabs which were later replaced with a tin roof. The bridge was an inspiration for the Macedonian director Milcho Mancevski to shoot a part of the film “Dust”, so the bridge is also known as the “Film bridge”.
