Busheva Mountain – a medium-high mountain that stretches between the valley of Treska in the north, the Barbaras pass (864 m) in the northeast, Prilepsko Pole or Pelagonija in the east, the valley of Crna Reka in the area of Zeleznik (Demir Hisar) in the south and the river Kasto and the largest field in Macedonia – Cersko Pole in the west. It covers an area of 325 km2. The highest peak is Stara Musica or only Musica (1,788 m). On the main mountain ridge extending in the south-east direction rise 10 more peaks higher than 1,500 m, among which the most prominent are Kozjak (1762 m), Blato (1592 m) and Kula (1437 m) in the northern part and Mechkin Kamen ( 1454 m) and Plocha (1293 m) in the southern part of the mountain. To the west Busheva Mountain is morphologically closely connected with the lower mountains Baba Sach (1697 m) and Luben (1762 m), which form a common mountain massif which at over 1000 meters above sea level covers a total area of 346 km2, while at 1500 meters above sea level the area of this common mountain massif is reduced to only 22.8 km2. To the south of Busheva Planina, separated by Crna Reka, lies the almost deforested Kale massif with the eponymous peak 1494 meters high, which Gjorce Petrov calls Gola Planina. On this mountain at an altitude of 1250 meters is the only mountain town in Macedonia and the highest mountain town in the Balkans – Krushevo.
