Lavci – a village in Bitola Municipality, in the vicinity of the city of Bitola. There are two interpretations for the name of the village of Lavci. According to the first interpretation, large flocks of sheep were kept in the village, and there were also dogs with the sheep. At night, when everyone was sleeping, wolves came, and the dogs barked at them to chase them away, so the village got its name from their barking. According to the second interpretation, Vlach families moved to the village, so the name is derived from Vlasi, i.e. Lassie.
Neolica – the peak of Baba Planina, 1,865 meters high and is 10 kilometers from the city of Bitola, where there is also a cross dedicated to the deceased mountaineers, which was built by Jovan Cvetkovski. Near it is the mountain lodge of the same name at an altitude of 1,440 meters, which has a capacity of 48 beds. This home can be reached on foot in 3 hours through the village of Bukovo, or in 2 hours through the village of Lavci.
