Baba Sach – a medium-high mountain that rises between the Kichevska Kotlina in the north and the karst Cersko Pole in the south. With the highest peak Golem Sach of 1,698 m, which is located in the central part, it stretches in an east-west direction. To the west it is separated from Mount Baben (1,220 m) by the Turla pass (1,099 m), while to the east it continues through a shallow saddle to the higher Busheva Mountain (1,780 m). It occupies a small area of 39.5 km2. The geological composition is dominated by Paleozoic massive marbles up to 1,000 m thick, which enabled their exploitation and intensive karstification.
