Brajchino – a village in the Municipality of Resen, in the area of ​​Dolna Prespa, in the vicinity of the city of Resen, located near the shores of the Great Prespa Lake. The village is located on the eastern part of the Great Prespa Lake, in one of the deeper western bosoms of Mount Baba, in the middle of the picturesque Brajchinska River. It stretches on both banks of the river, at an altitude of about 1000 meters. The clear and lush Brajchinska River flows through the village, which divides the village of Gorno Maalo on its left side and Dolno Maalo on its right bank. The area of ​​Brajchino abounds with springs and fast clear watercourses (left and right tributaries of the Brajchinska River or Stara Reka, as the locals call it) on which 12 mills and 4 rolling mills once worked in the village. The mountain slopes around Brajchino are rich in dense beech and oak forest, and from the village starting from the width of the playground in front of Gorno Maalo lead several marked hiking trails that through the dense beech, oak and walnut forest rich in springs lead to the top Pelister (3 hours) The Big Lake from Pelister Eyes (6 hours), the mountain lodge Neolica and Kopanki and the village Nizhepole in Bitola, which are marked with signposts and mountaineering marks.
