Tour

This is a super easy tour for the whole family. The trail starts from the middle of the village, where the village fountain is located. The road there is paved and ok for passenger vehicles. There is a possibility for several parking spaces at the fountain. The trail starts through a picturesque landscape with a beautiful view of the Taor Gorge. For a short time we arrive at the crossroads where the path to the monastery of Holy Mother of God is divided (2 km). We continue parallel to the highway Skopje – Veles, and after 3 km we arrive at the mouth of the river Pchinja in Vardar – a magical place to enjoy. Here we cross the river Vardar on an authentic suspension bridge – the right place for photography. After crossing the bridge carefully with children: the path intersects with the railway tracks. Soon the uphill begins and we move to the monastery of St. Elijah – a place where you can replenish your water supply and catch your breath – there are several wooden tables and benches around the monastery where you can relax and take shelter. From the monastery of St. Ilija to the village of Karabunishte we move along a dirt road through a beautiful forest and after approximately 2 km we reach the finish line.

Finally: if you go the trail in the summer, v. Kozhle is full of wild figs – the best we have tasted so far!
