Bigla – a medium-high mountain that is a natural extension of Ilinska and Plakenska Mountains. It has a dinar direction extending 16 km in length. It is bordered on the west by Resensko Pole and the valley of Golema Reka, on the east by the valleys of Semnica and Boishka River, and on the south by the Passage Gjavato (1,167 m) it is separated from the mountain Pelister (Baba Mountain). Within these borders it covers an area of ​​179 km2. It has seven peaks higher than 1,500 m, and the highest is Crn Vrv (1,935 m), which is located in the extreme northwestern part. The geological composition is represented by Paleozoic shales, granitoids and Triassic conglomerates. The geological composition, the climatic features and the large afforestation conditioned the appearance of short watercourses.
