Goleshnica – a medium-high mountain in the central part of Macedonia. It belongs to the eastern part of the Mokra Mountain massif, but is morphologically separated from it. It is located between the upper parts of the river valleys of Kadina Reka and Topolka, with a west-east direction. It covers an area of 197 km2. The highest points are the peaks Lisec (1,935 m) and Sipichan (1,789 m). To the north, through its branch Osmanbezhica (1,730 m) and the ridge Drmos, it joins Kitka, while to the west, through Sipichan, it connects directly with the main node of the whole massif, ie with Begovo Pole and the peaks Przhal and Solunska Glava. The name itself shows us that it is poor in forests, ie that it is deforested, which contributed to the development of intense recent erosion. It is also supported by the large slopes that are characteristic of the northern and southern slopes.
