Trapeznica – mountain top of Shar Planina, in the northwestern part of the Republic of Macedonia. It is an integral part of Shar Mountain and its height is 2,599 meters. It is located in the central part of the Shar Mountain and represents the point where the main Shar mountain ridge and the branching where the highest Shar peaks Titov Vrv (Shar), Mal Turchin, Bakardan and the three-beam crown with Plat, Sreden Kamen and Krivoshija are located, i.e. exactly it represents the node that connects the entire Sharplanin massif, rising above the springs and valleys of Pena, Smreka and the beautiful glacial White Lake, which is located just below the peak on the eastern side. The Table top has a very interesting and noticeable appearance with a long and undercut flat top, reminiscent of a table, i.e. it looks completely like a trapezoid. On the western side, the peak ends with a rocky area over which several gate-like rocky outcrops protrude, through which the route of the Western Macedonian Transversal passes, whose participants regularly take group pictures at the “Trpeznica gate”. The climbing path leads from the Smreka mountain lodge (1800 masl) – movement along the Vakafska path – Smreka river springs – Pena river springs – Dzinibeg peak (2610 masl) and Trpeznica peak (2590 masl), while it is about 30 km long and walk for 10-11 hours, thus falling into the medium difficulty category. From the top there is a beautiful view of White and Bogovinsko Lakes and a number of Shar peaks including Titov (Shar), Mal Turchin, Bakardan, Borislavec, Rudoka, Chelepino, the Shutman plateau, the valley of Pena and Polog.
