Bazernik – a village in the Municipality of Demir Hisar, in the area of ​​Zheleznik, in the vicinity of the city of Demir Hisar.

The village is located in the western part of the Municipality of Demir Hisar, whose atar rises to the crest of Plakenska Mountain. The village is mountainous, at an altitude of 950 meters.

From the Kichevo-Demir Hisar regional road, the village is 5.5 kilometers away, from the municipal center, the town of Demir Hisar, 22 kilometers. The village was mentioned for the first time in the Turkish census books from 1468, where the village was recorded under the name Bachrnik and there were 28 families, 1 unmarried and 1 widow, or a total of about 145 inhabitants. In the 19th century, Bazernik was located in Bitolska kaza, Demir Hisar district, in the Ottoman Empire.
