Deshat – a mountain on the Macedonian-Albanian border, part of the chain Shar-Korab – Deshat – Krchin – Stogovo – Karaorman. The highest peak is Velivar (Veli Vrv) with 2,373 meters. Other high peaks are Deli Senica and Suva Bara. There are several small glacial lakes. The most popular is Lake Lokuv, which is located in the northeastern part of the mountain at 1,560 meters above sea level and is the lowest glacial lake in Macedonia. The river Radika flows from the east, which divides it from Bistra and Stogovo. Most of the mountain is in the area of ​​Mavrovo National Park.

The mountain Deshat occupies the middle part of the Korab mountain massif (wreath), stretching from the eponymous high mountain pass Deshat (1976 m) and the valley of the river Zhirovnica (Valavicharska river), which also separates it from the mountain Korab in the north, to the high mountain plateau (2080 m) and the valley of Trebishka Reka which separates it from the mountain Krchin to the south. The total length of the mountain ridge is 7 km. To the east, this mountain stretches to the valley bottom of the Radika River, and to the west to the eastern edge of the Peshkopi Valley in the neighboring Republic of Albania. The Macedonian-Albanian border crosses the highest points of the mountain ridge, and the entire eastern side of Mount Deshat belongs to the territory of Macedonia, while the western side belongs to Albania. The total area belonging to the territory of Macedonia is 53 km2. The lowest point of the mountain Deshat on the territory of Macedonia is located at the confluence of the Trebishka River in Radika at an altitude of 680 meters, and the highest is the peak Velivar at 2372 meters.
