Korab Waterfalls (Projfelski Waterfalls) – a waterfall in the upper course of Dlaboka River on the mountain Korab. Occurs in the spring months after the snow melts on the east side of the Mal Korab peak. Depending on the season and the water level of the spring, the waterfall varies in height and intensity.
In different sources, different data on the height of the waterfall can be found, and the numbers vary between 70 and 138 meters. The exact height of the waterfall may also depend on the different points taken at different measurements. The upper point of the waterfall is located at an altitude of about 2,050 m, and the lower is at an altitude of about 1,950 m.
The waterfall appears with the melting of the snow in the spring. It has the greatest intensity at the end of May and the beginning of June, and further during the summer, it loses its strength. In late summer and early autumn, the water just slides on the rocks, and in dry years it dries completely.
The best access to the waterfall is through the valley of Dlaboka River. It can be accessed from the left side of the river through the villages of Nistrovo and Zuznje, or from the right side through Bibanje, along the Kabash peak. Paths are narrow and poorly marked, and in several places the river has to be crossed through unsecured crossings.
