Plocha– a peak in the southern part of the main ridge of the stretch of Mount Korab, in the Republic of Macedonia. Its height is 2,233 meters. It is located on the extreme southern part of Mount Korab on the main ridge, in close proximity to the border line between Macedonia and Albania between the Skrtec pass in the north and Visoko Brdo peak (2211) in the south. With its location, the Ploca peak is the penultimate mountain peak on the stretch of the Korab mountain ridge from north to south, after which follows the Visoko Brdo peak and the Deshat preslap, from where the mountain of the same name begins, part of this massif. It is distinguished by a very majestic view, especially viewed from the south (from Visoko Brdo), where the Plocha peak itself is presented as a very sharp and pointed peak with a view of the entire Korab mountain massif with the highest peaks in the background. The eastern slope of the Plocha peak on Macedonian territory is grassy and it is possible to climb to the top on it because the well-trodden border trail passes along it, while the western slope on the peak of Albanian territory is very steep vertically cut and rocky with fine sand and steep stones, which is why climbing it is impossible. The highest part of the peak is sharp and pointed, but from a distance it looks like a protruding plate, which is probably why the peak itself got its name – Plate.
